A worry-free charging experience
Self-healing
Amp5 features centralized control that continuously performs self-diagnostics on functionality and connectivity. When needed, the system can automatically reboot at the processor level. This self-healing capability eliminates the need for costly on-site service technician visits.
Redundant connectivity
Amp5 features redundant internet connectivity via LAN and 4G.
A wired (2xLAN) two-way connection between all charging points ensures maximum reliability.
With Amp5, you are guaranteed an uninterrupted connection and a worry-free user experience.
Always up to date
No need to worry about system updates. All updates can be performed completely automatically (FOTA) and take less than 2 seconds, without interrupting ongoing charging sessions.
Lightning-fast load balancing
Protect the main fuse
With lightning-fast DLM, Amp5 adjusts the charging system's power usage in real-time to match the building's overall power consumption, ensuring you never exceed the capacity of your main fuse.
Charge more EVs
Amp5 supports 1/3-phase switching to optimize charging based on the type of electric vehicle. Phase switching also enables charging outlets to be used for engine preheaters.

Smart charging
Charging optimization can be managed by an external charging service, such as based on departure time, or through local configuration using the desired method, such as first come, first served, round robin, or equal distribution.
Reduce power losses
With smart charging activated, charging sessions occur sequentially, allowing for higher charging power per session, thereby reducing energy losses.
Complete freedom with OCPP
OCPP is a communication standard between charging points and central charging services.
Unlike many chargers locked to proxy or cloud services, Amp5 is a native OCPP solution supporting both OCPP 1.6J and the latest OCPP 2.0.1.
Native OCPP means Amp5 communicates directly with central charging services, allowing you to easily switch providers in the future.

That’s why Amp5 is available with integrated LED lighting to enhance both safety and comfort in your parking area.
Strict safety standards
Amp5 adheres to rigorous safety standards, including EN 61851-1 and EN-IEC 60947-2 Annex B, ensuring safe operation and protection against electrical faults. The system includes built-in Type B RCDs that automatically cut power in case of hazardous fault currents exceeding 30/6 mA (AC/DC).
Centralized Surge Protection
Amp5 protects both the charging system and connected EVs against lightning and power surges, which is also a legal requirement for public charging stations.
Emergency stop
Amp5 features a centralized emergency stop that can integrate with the property's existing systems. In case of a fire alarm, all charging sessions are halted.
Battery backup
With an integrated battery backup, system owners are notified of power outages, and users can safely end ongoing charging sessions to unlock the charging port.
